Welcome
You are welcome as a loved family member. Whether you are the wise grandparent, the strange uncle, the supportive aunt, the gregarious child, the moody sibling, the stubborn grandchild, you help to complete this family of God. We know that our family is incomplete without the gifts of our whole family being recognized and used. We strive to live the teachings of Jesus, loving everyone, judging no one, teaching and serving all, and holding each other up in prayer.

MOVIE NIGHT

We will be watching "The Wind Rises" for June's movie night, June 21st at 6pm.
"The Wind Rises is a poignant and visually stunning animated film by Hayao Miyazaki that tells the fictionalized story of Jiro Horikoshi, the visionary Japanese engineer behind the WWII-era Mitsubishi A5M and Zero fighter planes. Set against the backdrop of early 20th-century Japan, the film explores Jiro's passion for aviation, his inner conflict between creating beauty and contributing to war, and his tender love story with Nahoko, a woman battling tuberculosis. With dreamlike sequences, historical resonance, and a meditative tone, The Wind Rises is both a tribute to creativity and a melancholic reflection on the cost of dreams in a turbulent world."
Rated PG-13 for some disturbing images and smoking.
Bring a snack to share and a comfortable chair if you’d like.
